born and raised in geneva, maxime -or illmax- started studying at a tech school where he learned craftsmanship, autonomy and problem solving. heavily sensitive to image and sound in general, he chose to redirect after graduating and undertook a bachelor in art direction in 2018.
in late 2019, he spent five months at parisian agency bureau badass for his first internship as an art director assistant. he then pursued studying until early 2021, where he got an internship at geneva clothing brand visual (archives) society. he obtained his diploma in june 2021 and has been working since on comissioned and personal projects.
